"Laia Falcon has a very musical and unique voice, of a beautiful color, and an exceptional quality to lead the public to its own space while she sings", wrote the soprano Barbara Bonney with regard to a skillful class celebrated in the Théâtre du Châtelet of Paris.
Born in Madrid, Laia Falcon ist graduated in Music and Piano in the Superior Conservatory of Salamanca and reached the DEA of Audio-visual Communication in the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with Extraordinary Prize. Two useful courses at Aspen Music School and stages at Mozarteum (Salzburg, Austrich) has gived to her a good international backround untill she be envolved in Sorbonne in Paris.

As musician and piano player she thanks for the contribution of professors like, among others, Eduardo Ponce, Aquilles delle Vigne, Rouzan Badalian, Sergei Mesropian, Guillermo González and Gabriel Chodos. With the supervision of Peter Feutchwanger she plays up at the Wiener Saal of the Mozarteum in Salzburgo.
Since 1999 she studies voice technic with the sopranos Maria Espada (Alfredo Kraus's student) and Yu Chi You, completing his formation with the teachers Lorrain Nubar and Paul Sperry (Julliard School of Music of New York), Philip Frohmayer (Loyola University of New Orleans) and Jeff Cohen (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris) and participating in skillful classes of artists as James Colon, Teresa Berganza, Ileana Cotrubas or Barbara Bonney.
Granted a scholarship by the Community of Madrid and the European Union, she is training with Jean-Pierre Blivet, Jorge Chaminé, Marie-Françoise Bucquet, and the repertoristas Jeff Cohen ( Superior National Conservatory of Music of Paris) and Alvarez Parejo (Royal Superior Conservatory of Madrid) and research his doctoral thesis on Gender and rol in the arts (GERS, CNRS, Université the Sorbonne Nouvelle, Universidad Complutense de Madrid).
It has given concerts in Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France and Italy, and recently it has made debut in F. Gold Hall of the Palais Garnier de Paris with a recital offered to the European representatives of Young Friends of the Opera and has recorded the Dúos for soprano and flauta of Roussel for the Danish Radio. Dicrected by Chaminé she has been singing in Monte Argentario (Toscana, Italy).
